So The Purple Tape…
Superrr Dope….blacks beats are always on point. The whole prince theme thing they have is good, (i watched purple rain for some of the samples afterwards). But Black milk is one of my favorite producers in the game, hes like a the right mix of Dilla and Pete Rock. Some tracks to check out are Blueprint, Camera Tricks, Put it in the Air, Impatient, Holdin Back ,and Bounce. The track “Say Something” Takes it, with a superb sample is heavenly. Black is the producer to mess with, he’s been out for a minute and made good contributions to the game, but his work none the less is magnificent. Also this tape has made me think that pooh is more fierce this time around, like it didnt seem like the same pooh from Minstrel Show. But none the less, the tape is good. DJ flash gets the “thumbsup” on mixing it properly. But a big question i have is
